Learn how to make a simple text glow
1. Create a new document and then create a new layer and fill it with whatever colour you want(I used black because the contrast is more obvious) and enter a text.

2. Create two copies of the text layer.Leave the top layer intact and change text color on the other two to #33CCFF.

3. Right click the number 1 layer, and select “Rasterize Layer”, and then, with this layer selected, go to Filter >> Blur >> Motion Blur and use the settings below (you can change the distance, but make sure the angle is 0)


4. Now right click the number 2 layer, and select “Rasterize Layer”, and then, with this layer selected, go to Filter >> Blur >> Motion Blur and use the settings below (you can change the distance, but make sure the angle is 90)


And you’re done. The final text should look like the one below.
