Learn how to customize a dog tag.

1. Open the image with the dog tag you wish to write on.

2. Write the text(make sure you use white), go to Edit>>Free Transform and align the text.

3. Duplicate the layer, and make the font color black in the new layer(and make sure this layer is on top of the original layer). Rasterize both layers(right-click on the layer and select “Rasterize Layer”). Then, set blending mode to both layer to Soft Light.

4. Now, click on the “white” layer and press the arrow keys until you get the desired effect(for example, I pressed Up Arrow three times, but this depends on the angle of your tag and text). And you’re done. If you want the text to be darker, duplicate the layer with the black text as many times as you wish. Here is my final result. Good luck.
